Actress Kangana Ranaut received Padmashri Award

Kangana Ranaut, who received the Padma Shri for being a ‘adarsh naagrik,’ thinks it will’shut mouths of a lot of people.’

Actress Kangana Ranaut received Padmashri Award: On Monday, actress Kangana Ranaut received the Padma Shri Award in New Delhi. Kangana took to Instagram after accepting the award to send a message to her fans.

Kangana Ranaut told the camera that she had already gotten several honours for her work as a performer, but that the Padma Shri demonstrated how the country regarded her as a ‘perfect citizen’ as well.

“I am thankful.” It took me 8-10 years to achieve success when I first started my job at a young age. When I eventually became successful, though, I didn’t enjoy it and instead focused on other difficulties.

I avoided fairness creams, item numbers, and acting in films with well-known male stars and production companies. She stated, “I created more enemies than I made money.”

Kangana also discussed how she frequently expresses her views on social and political topics despite having several legal cases pending against her.

“People frequently ask me what I get out of all of this. Why am I going through all of this? This isn’t your responsibility. As a result, this award is my response to them. In the video, she says, “This Padma Shri ke roop mein jo mujhe sammaan mila hai ye bahut logon ke mooh band karega (This Padma Shri will quiet a lot of people).”

In addition to Kangana, musician Adnan Sami and director Ekta Kapoor received Padma Shri honours at the occasion.

Adnan talked to ANI after receiving the Padma Shri and expressed his desire to donate the honour to his parents.

“You don’t always have the words to explain yourself. I am grateful to the government. Thankful for humans; without them, nothing would be possible. This is dedicated to my father and mum. It’s not just an honour, but also a duty, one that I’ll do my best to fulfil “he stated
