LPG gas cylinder price hiked news: LPG Cylinder Price: On July 1, 2021, non-subsidized liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices were increased by Rs.25.50. Non-subsidised LPG would cost 834.50 a cylinder (14.2 kilos) in Delhi and Mumbai from July 1.
LPG cylinders are the most expensive in Chennai, at 850.50. LPG costs have risen by 140 per 14.2-kg cylinder in the previous six months, according to the recent price hike.
The cost of a 19 kilogramme commercial cylinder has risen by Rs. 76.
The increase in LPG comes at a time when gasoline and diesel prices are at all-time highs in the country. In Mumbai, petrol prices have already surpassed the 100-dollar level, while prices in other metro areas are approaching the three-digit mark.

Meanwhile, the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) has risen by Rs 2,354/kL, bringing the current price in Delhi to Rs 68,262/kL.
Every year, the government provides 12 cylinders weighing 14.2 kilos to each home. Customers must pay market prices for any subsequent LPG cylinder purchases.
The government’s subsidy on the yearly quota of 12 refills fluctuates from month to month, and is mostly governed by factors like foreign currency rates and crude oil costs.
