Swami Vivekananda death anniversary: Swami Vivekananda, a spiritual leader, died in Belur Math in West Bengal on July 4, 1902, at the age of 39. Swami Vivekananda was born as Narendranath Dutta in a wealthy family in Kolkata on January 12, 1863, and was hailed as a Dhyana Sidha, a meditation master, by his mentor Ramakrishna Paramhamsa.

He dedicated his life to serving the nation and humanity, emphasising the importance of meditation. He rose to prominence during the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893 after being interested in meditation as a kid.

His speech helped to popularise India’s culture and history.

He created an appealing appeal to all types of Americans who came into touch with him during the worldwide discourse on different forms of faith in the US, thanks to his great understanding of Indian and Western culture and colourful personality.

The Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission were created by him. Swami Vivekananda struggled with a variety of health issues during his brief life. Several leaders and politicians paid homage to him today, on the anniversary of his passing, and lauded his accomplishments.
